Anna and Tom's House - Minimalism and Nature

During the implementation of this project, owners wanted to preserve space, have plenty of light and individually tailored solutions. The simple, sometimes almost raw finish of the house inside beautifully exposes furniture and accessories made of natural materials. A very elegant combination of dark grey with wooden boarding emphasizes the interesting shape of the house and is the starting point for arranging the space around the house.

A large house requires windows of different types and sizes. We can find here both typical tilt and turn windows, as well as terrace sliding doors and fixed glazing. The window technology used will certainly save customers a lot of money, because those products are characterized by high thermal insulation and will also provide silence thanks to acoustic insulation. The use of sliding patio doors allowed us to save space as they do not require additional space inside the room when opening. In addition, they increase the area of glazing ensuring greater access to natural light.

Almost all windows are equipped with a system of automatically operated external roller shutters. Investors decided at the design stage that they wanted to have roller shutters, so the house has a flush-mounted system in which the boxes are aesthetically hidden under the facade. Installation of external roller shutters has many advantages ranging from protection of windows against external factors, through energy-saving and thermal insulation of the building, to increasing the sense of security of the household members and increasing the anti-burglary values of the house.

A 5m wide gate with a smooth anthracite grey panel (RAL 7016 - identical to the color of the window joinery and entrance door) was installed in the two-car garage. As the facade of the garage is also finished in a very similar shade, the gate, despite its considerable size, does not attract much attention. Thanks to the use of the drive, the operation of the gate is comfortable and functional for the users.

When it comes to the front door, investors decided on a classic, simple design of aluminum external doors, which fits perfectly into the home, and at the same time reflects the character of the hosts who value minimalism and nature. Aluminum doors mean solid workmanship and durability combined with an attractive design.
