The Interior Design Show (IDS) in Canada has come to an end. We attended with a cross-sectional display of joinery solutions, including a folding door system, PVC windows, doors, and shading systems. What were investors looking for, what trends are shaping the local industry, and how can this year’s edition of the event be summarized? We invite you to read on!

In January 2026, we will be exhibiting at IDS Toronto (Interior Design Show) – Canada’s innovative interior design and architecture show presenting creativity and constant change.

Meetings with our Business Partners are key highlights in DAKO’s annual calendar. This time, the #DAKOteam experts visited clients across the ocean. The Toronto conference stood out from previous editions — in addition to discussing market bestsellers and the range of local business support DAKO offers, we created a dedicated installation area that allowed participants to see live demonstrations of window and door installation techniques.

DAKO – a Polish manufacturer of window and door joinery – consistently invests in the automation of its production processes. This year, the company has implemented another state-of-the-art technological solution that will streamline the plant’s operations and speed up order completion. As part of our partnership with URBAN POLSKA, we bought a modern automatic steel cutting machine – Schirmer type SZA 450.

In late April and early May, we appeared at the international FIT Show in Birmingham. FIT Show 2025 was the largest edition of the event to date, spanning as many as four halls of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). This year, we surprised our guests with much-anticipated new additions to our range and unveiled a comprehensive product offering in PVC, wood and aluminium joinery.

DAKO consistently adopts innovative technologies to deliver the highest quality joinery to customers around the world. Lately, a new welding robot, the SL4 FF EVO RS, supplied by Fimtec Polska, has arrived on the PVC manufacturing floor. The machine will significantly improve the production processes of PVC joinery and further improve the precision of welding.

Welcome to our report on the Batimat 2024 trade fair, during which DAKO presented its innovations in its offer. The successful event attracted crowds of visitors, and the brand's stand was very popular.
