Italian-style house

DAKO project: classic, Italian detached house located near Venice at the foot of the Alps

A characteristic feature of houses built in an Adriatic style is the use of light colours. Also in this case beige was chosen for the façade. It is a colour that perfectly harmonises with white windows and patio doors. In this particular house the investors opted for comprehensive DAKO products.

  • PVC joinery from DPQ-76 series
The series is distinguished by excellent acoustic properties, which the owners were particularly interested in. Moreover, to protect the residents’ privacy, opaque frosted glass was used in the bathroom window. This allows natural, diffused sunlight to enter the bathroom and the residents are protected from the curious eyes of strangers.

  • Flush-mounted roller shutters DK-RSP
In every window roller shutters were mounted already during construction. They limit the amount of sunlight entering the rooms in the hot Mediterranean climate and have anti-burglary function.

  • Front doors – BONA model
Overlay door with handle, made of anthracite grey aluminium (RAL 7016) with opaque glazing used in the sidelight.

  • Sectional garage door
A model with a smooth 40 mm thick panel that harmonises with the colour of the front door and complements the building façade.
