2019 was very special for us. We celebrate the quarter-century jubilee of the DAKO company and the international success of the brand that we have achieved during this time.
Existing since 1994, the DAKO brand is currently the leader of the Polish joinery market. In addition, more than half of the brand's products are distributed to foreign markets, enjoying the recognition of customers from all over the world. Our history is an example of a Polish company that decided to base its pillars on high quality, which lead us to achieve international success and remains one of our hallmarks to this day. We value the way we have traveled - we perfectly remember the times of the first production hall, first orders, and plans. Despite the passage of years, we still have the same goal: Polish high-quality windows in homes all over the world. The company's development over 25 years is enormous, and is perfectly demonstrated by the comparison of several aspects of its activity:
- PRODUCTION: The first production hall had an area of 600 m2, while the current space is already over 26,000 m2.
- EMPLOYMENT: The first few years are a few people working in one room, currently DAKO employs almost 700 people in various positions - and this number is constantly growing.
- FOREIGN MARKETS: in 2003, the share of exports in sales was only a few percent, today more than half of the entire production is sent to foreign markets.
The official culmination of DAKO's 25th birthday celebration was the Jubilee Gala, which took place on September 13, 2019, in Krakow. Together with guests from different countries - our Business Partners, Suppliers, Employees, and Family, we celebrated the success of DAKO with a unique event. An effective multimedia presentation brought the brand's history closer and the musical show was provided by the star of the evening - Kayah. Of course, there was also a birthday cake, lots of warm wishes and dancing until dawn.
It was a special evening for us, we are glad that we could spend it with friends! Thank you for coming, warm words, and great fun. It is a great honor for us to be able to celebrate our 25th birthday in such a wonderful company.
